CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Randy Russell of Monroe, Ga., recently took a year off from bowling, but showed he's back in a big way as he moved into the top spot in four categories at the 2006 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships on Sunday.
Russell, a member of the Professional Bowlers Association since 2003, has only been back on the lanes for about three months, but is looking forward to being as competitive as his schedule will allow.
