 Ready Air Hopes to Become Airport's Second Fixed-Base Operator
By establishing itself as an FBO, the company could engage in retail aviation operations such as selling fuel and providing ground services and maintenance to aircraft.
While the airport doesn't currently offer fractional air leasing service or a flight school, it does have a fixed based operator, Winner Aviation Inc., which essentially provides the same retail services that Ready Air wants to provides.
Ready Air has said it wants to become a fixed-based operator, known as an FBO, at the airport, Steve Bowser, airport director, told the board.
