Bowser is enraged when he discovers that someone other than he has captured Princess Peach and sets out on a mission of his own to find her as well as collect the seven Crystal Stars.
Bowser's next media appearance was being the regular antagonist in the Mario comics published as part of the Nintendo Comics System, which used the same design as the cartoons.
Bowser's larger form may also be referenced by his larger, super forms in Paper Mario and Mario Party 5 (which could help answer the question regarding his size in that he drinks a potion to grow larger), as well as his mutant version, the fearsome Giga Bowser in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Bowser is depicted fairly consistently as nasty, brutish, and not particularly bright, though he still possesses some sarcastic wit.
Bowser is enraged when he discovers that someone other than he has captured Princess Peach and sets out on a mission of his own to find her, only to be beaten to the punch at every turn.
Bowser has yet to become playable in the Mario Party series (except in the "Beach Volley Folly" minigame in Mario Party 4), however, and it is likely that he never will be, (due to the existence of the Bowser space) although a couple of the games allow the player to select Koopa Kid.

Koopa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia(Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-01)
Koopa is the name of many of the characters in the Mario games.
Although Koopas are one of the most recognizable Mario enemies (along with the Goomba), they have also sometimes appeared as "good guys", especially in more recent games such as Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64.
Koopas made their first appearance in the 1985 game Super Mario Brothers and have appeared in every major Mario game since.
Most people think that Bowser appears at the end of each world, but it is in fact one of his many henchmen disguised as Bowser.
Bowser is often shown to have immense jealousy over any other villain who is a powerful authority figure besides him, such as Cackletta and Smithy, and will occasionally, if necessary, work with Mario to help defeat the said villain.
Bowser's larger form may also be referenced by his larger, super forms in Paper Mario and Mario Party 5, as well as his mutant version, the fearsome Giga Bowser in Super Smash Brothers: Melee.

Koopa has stolen a magic statue that may set the Mushroom Kingdom free (is it the Lost Mushroom from yesterday’s episode?), so the Marios go after it.
Koopa's paintings line her living room, turtle pillows crowd her sofas and she has ceramic and plastic figurines of the reptile in nearly every corner.
Koopa knows that life isn't so good for all turtles, so 20% of the purchase price from all of Koopa's paintings will be donated to a non-profit organization that cares for sick/injured/abandoned turtles and tortoises.

He has saved the world many times from BowserKoopa as well as some powerful baddies.
: Although he's not as powerful as BowserKoopa, he's powerful enough to take over the world of Sub-con, but not powerful enough to stop Mario and company from him or his evil forces, mainly due to his dislike of vegetables.
He was sworn to protect Bowser ever since the koopa king was a prince.
