	Klinik - Wikipedia
		Klinik is an industrial music band from Belgium, originally formed in 1981 or 1982 by EBM, electro-synthpop practitioner Marc Verhaeghen, who is the only constant member.
		The Klinik soon made a name for themselves with their cold and harsh EBM sound and their live shows, where both Ivens and Verhaeghen performed with their heads wrapped in gauze, wearing long fl leather coats.
		Verhaeghen has been involved in several projects outside Klinik, including Noise Unit (with Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber of Front Line Assembly), D.Sign (with Philippe and Eliane Fichot of Die Form), X10 (with Niki Mono, Marc Ickx of A Split Second and Vidna Obmana), and Para (with his own wife Sabine Voss).

	THE INDUSTRY
		It's known that the Klinik was formed by the union of Marc Verhaeghen with Eric Van Wonterghen and Dirk Ivens, formerly from Absolute Body Control.
		But shortly after, in 92 he continued the Klinik alone, releasing an album (Contrast), released by Antler Subway, and a split single with Paracont (Brain/Get out), released by Gothic Arts, an a live album and video these were the last Klinik releases on Antler Subway.
		The Klinik released an album(Awake) in 96 and a single in a split release in the same year, in 98 came the Blanket of Fog with a techno oriented style, but still recogniseable with the Klinik's trade mark style.

	Klinik: Dark Surgery - Release Music Magazine review (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-14)
		The first box will be re-issued in any case so stop whining and get over it.
		With Nickanor back in the Klinik fold, Verhaeghen returns to the amazing trance/electro style he branched out into with 2002's "Sonic Surgery" except that this time around the tempo is more varied and the textures far more subdued.
		Klinik continue to expand their sound with each release and now that Marc has given us both halves of the surgery equation, further exploration will no doubt commence.

	Album Reviews
		Arguably the greatest doom metal band in history, Candlemass released a string of albums in the late 80s that are still unmatched for their mixture of heaviness, musicianship and dark beauty.
		Empyrium are up next with one of the album's best, a truly refined composition that builds on delicate acoustic guitar and piano work to a crescendo that features some inspired grim vocals (in sharp contrast to the quiet, whispered vocals up to that point).
		If the whole album were confined to this style, it might prove a bit much, but he does a great job integrating it with the clean style of the session vocalist.

		She was having difficulties locating Gitane Demone's first album in New Orleans and asked me to look for it here in Eugene and bingo, there it was in one of the dark recesses of the garden: Facets in Blue.
		This album isn't as bad as I made it out to be, but you can't listen to it without at least always wondering what is missing from the effort.
		This album is obviously coming from someone from the metal side of the fence, so it's doubtful that hardcore tek-heads and electro purists will have much use for it.

		Their first album "Disconnect" (released in Europe by October records) was - and still is - one of the all time top quality synthpop albums comparable to MESH and DE/VISION at their best.
		This is a shame as their new album is another BRILLIANT example of the talent and quality that Iris possess : IRIS' second album "Awakening" is a turn of pace from the first album, mostly due to the change in the band's core line-up with Andrew Sega replacing Matthew Morris on programing.
		This ominous motive is enriched by Mootz' liberal use of vocal elements - both as a focal point via heart-wrenching voice solos and the evil-toned narration from the silmarillion, and as somber texture in the distant sounds of a purgatorial choir.

	Haujobb Tribute album
		I didnt care for Mnemonic's first album, but holy hell is the new one good.
		The latest album is indeed an excellent release (The "Nahtot" EP is very good as well, grab it before it's gone at http://shop.alfa-matrix.com), note the tracks were Sandrine from SEIZE offers guestvocals for the limited 2CD box.
		Owners of this album include Johnny Marr from the Smiths, P. Codenys from FRONT 242 etc. It tells something when people like this request material...

	Box Sets...the best over the years...
		Excellent sturdy metal box, and the T-shirt is of such high quality that it still looks pretty new even now.
		Wish I had the box "Ignarrogance" set, but I love the CD that I do have...I heard the BOX is a nice package w/7".
		the metal pins in the isc and synapscape boxs are sorta junky, and the vaclight in the hex angel box is just embarrasing, i've found cooler prizes in the bottom of a crackerjack box.

		All told, Hawtin was responsible for the release of three albums and a good-sized EP in the span of just one year.
		That impressive schedule was shattered in 1995, when Hawtin was entangled in difficulties resulting from a sudden crackdown on his usual procedure of crossing the American border to perform.
		By the time he was able to return to America, he had changed his musical direction and eventually abandoned the Klinik album.
