Brad Nowell (born February 21, 1969) is a singer and guitar player of Sublime (1989-1997).
Years back, his friends Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh met in 1979 and later started their garage punker band, consisting of drums, bass and vocals in 1989.
In 1996, Sublime disbanded after Nowell died of a heroin overdose in a San Francisco hotel.

in my opinion, Brad was one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time and is a constant musical and social inspiration to me. everyone raise a glass this evening in homage to bradley!
Not to say I cry and burn candles every year for the deaths of people I don't know, but it just sucks that either of them had to die.
