The Bradbury Building is an architectural landmark in Los Angeles, California, in the United States and was used extensively as a setting for the film Blade Runner.
The building is known for its large use of ornately designed wrought-iron railings which are supposed to give the illusion of hanging vegetation and are found throughout the building.
Bradbury who was very committed to the project, believing it to be the greatest monument possible to his memory, spared no expense and imported massive steel rails from Europe in order to bolster the building and allow its construction.

The City of Bradbury is named after Louis Leonard Bradbury, who acquired 2,750 acres of the Rancho Azusa de Duarte; a Mexican land grant awarded to Andres Duarte before California became part of the United States, in 1892.
