Jade is a fictional character, a superhero from DC Comics.
She has worked with both the Justice League and Justice Society of America, as well as most recently being a member and eventual leader of the Outsiders.

 JSA: Golden Age Print History
At the time All-American were producing four main anthology titles (as outlined in the GA Introduction) each home to it’s own stable of heroes that had not yet gained their own quarterly spin off titles as Superman and Batman had.
Most of them were already in place in the previous two issues and continued over with their own stories embedded within the JSA framing sequence, but more that that there were two from each of the All American anthologies.

The first one is the quintessential comics store in my parts, but over the years, and especially after the owner died, it has turned into one serious munchkin farm.
This is probably the main comics store to hit in the big city.
It's very, very HUGE and it has two floors of stuff -- comics, toys, games, models, (I think there was even a kitchen sink for sale).

There are some other developments here — Brainwave and Jade admit their feelings for each other and consummate the relationship (pretty much right next to Northwind who Brainwave Jr.
Then Brainwave discloses that he involuntarily can tell what people nearby are thinking and feeling — not in an overwhelming “too many voices in my head” kind of way, but just in a “know it whether I want to or not” kind of way.
The romp through the different sets is good comics fun, but Roy spoils it with forced humor by overplaying the dumb 1930’s thugs.

Brainwave Jr: Being Jades former boyfriend and possibly wanting to get away from the ever scrutinizing JSA, he is the only one mentioned that would make any sense at all if he joined The Outsiders.
So she decided to become Black Canary at 19, the others were still 14-15, and she became a founder of the JLA.
