Brasso Seco is a small rainforest community in the Northern Mountain Range of Trinidad.
Although the people of Brasso Seco are always open and welcoming, students typically take time to adjust to a culture that is not based on technology and wealth.
Although it would be ideal to develop educational exercises that could be applied to all educational levels, I feel that we should focus on the Brasso Seco teacher with the best computer skills (Tina Pacheco) and gear the program to her students.

Reckitt Benckiser Brasso Multipurpose Metal Polish | iLounge iPod Accessory Reviews
To make a long story short, we tested Brasso with two scratched-up iPods - both fl - and two different cloths, giving each iPod the requisite 20 minutes of polishing that we’ve heard is appropriate to restore them to their original gloss levels.
Brasso’s reputation for metal restoration didn’t help it to achieve any better results than the other creams we’ve tested; in fact, we were genuinely unimpressed with its restorative powers on the iPod’s rear metal surface, which was even more obviously littered with hairline surface scratches than with the other polishes we’ve tested.
The good news was that, like basically all of the other creams we’ve tested recently, Brasso removed some of the nastiest scratches on the nano’s face, suffered several days ago in a drop onto a concrete surface without a case.

Please be careful with the Brasso, and only perform this in a well ventilated area.
You should feel the abrassiveness of the Brasso on the CD as you are doing this.
The brasso is removing part of the plastic from the disc not adding to it.

FWIW Brasso also works well on perspex (polymethylmethacrylate) and is therefore good for getting rid of scratches on plastic spectacle lenses and iPod screens.
Finally got a written reply from Brasso company saying that the Brasso formulation was recently altered due to enviornmental regulations.
Brasso sadly is now out as DVD/CD scratch remover for me, as trying to get the oily substance OFF the disc now causes more harm than help!!!

It is important to remember that brasso is a very fine abrasive, almost a colloid, suspended in solution.
Don’t use Brasso on the chrome backsof your ipod nano’s, it bloody scratched mine to hell and now I am looking for products to remove the scratches or possibly brush the chrome casing like this person has done (http://members.optusnet.com.au/brushedipod/).
Brasso does not leave yellowish stain on the ipod, but it does stain your cloth.

Dailey News » Restore your iPod nano to new condition with a $4 can of Brasso
I had read on Slashdot and a few other places that Brasso can restore an iPod to like-new condition, but I didn’t believe it myself, and I was a bit worried that it would have some sort of bad reaction with my iPod, such as melting it.
I think it’s possible (but not likely) that if you put a huge lump of Brasso right on the gap and worked it into the inside of your iPod that you could do damage or leave a deposit of Brasso in the gap that would be hard to remove.
Brasso is only going to remove shallow scratches, not deep gouges, but it won’t hurt anything and I’m sure your iBook would look better after a good Brasso session.

Dailey News » Removing iPod nano scratches with Brasso - followup questions
General tip: Getting Brasso into a small gap of anything is probably a bad idea, since it dries to a hard wax and might be hard to remove.
Whether you decide to try the Brasso method or not is up to you, but stop whining about Todd’s pictures, or lack of information, or whatever the hell else you’re whining about.
Just smearing Brasso on the plastic and rubbing it in will leave it yellow and ugly, you need to use a cleaner, some sort of eye glasses cleaner to get rid of the Brasso completely afterwards.

Justin Blanton | iPod nano + Brasso + invisibleShield
After reading about the guy who removed nano scratches with Brasso (a mild abrasive), I was intrigued and knew that I had to try it out.
After letting the Brasso dry and wiping the nano clean, it was time to put on the invisibleShield, which is basically a military-grade, nearly impervious, nano condom (watch the demo videos); the end result looks as if the nano has been vacuum-sealed.
Getting the shield on is a bit tricky and requires you to dip the film into soapy water to allow for it to slide about the nano so that perfect alignment may be achieved (the film is cut to fit the nano precisely).

CDR Repair Kits from Burning Issues: Tips and Tricks for CDR / CDRW Writing
Burningissues decided to test some of the moderately expensive repair-kits on the market: these are all, in essence, neatly packaged burnishing-pastes, which polish out the scratches without making the whole surface unreadably matte.
Burningissues' overall best of show must go to Brasso: it's easy to use and is available in most grocery and hardware stores.
It's been fun [if laborious] finding out a mad-sounding recommendation of a household product rather than "the real thing" is for once on the inside straight: we believe our tests follow a solid methodology; but please keep in mind these results are for your information only, and carry no warranty.

Invisible Matrix: Brasso, the cure to your iPod ailments
Today I was going to get some Brasso since it’s supposed to work according to some places on the web.
At this point, I typically put 1-2 drops on the cloth and work the whole back of the iPod in small circles applying some elbow grease to the area covered with scratches (not too much since it’s mostly in number of circles not how hard you push on the cloth).
Also, if the Brasso has been stood in its bottle for a long time, the abrasive settles to the bottom, and becomes ‘set’, which makes it difficult to shake up again.

brasso is great, i have been leak testing my lapped ww and my silverprop fusion hl blocks and since it has been sitting here out in the air for a day now, it got all tarnished and oxidized on the bases so i used brasso and OH MY GOD!!
When I have used it on a freshly lapped base, the cloth is usually fl afterwards, that usually means theres lots of stuff on there you really cant see.
Since brasso is acidic, I though that it "burned" off a very thin layer of copper and it turned fl as a reaction with whatever was in the brasso.

Remove scratches on Ipod with Brasso!!!!!
I recently experimented removing scratches from my 15,30 and 60gb Ipods with a can of Brasso, 2 micro fiber cloths, and a can of Novus plastic polish & cleaner(optional) and almost all of my scratches went bye bye, Brasso even managed to remove most of the scratches on the back of my Ipods.
Basically, you just put a little Brasso on a cloth or cotton ball and using the weight of your hands, work the Brasso in using an up and down motion for about 10-15 minutes, let the Brasso haze for another 10 minutes, and then you remove it with another clean cloth.
I did notice that Brasso just polished really deep scratches rather then remove them, there was a slight improvement but not much with deep deep scratches.
