Braylon Jamel Edwards (born February 21, 1983 in Detroit, Michigan) is a current American football player who was selected third overall in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.
Edward's records at Michigan include season records for receptions (97) and yards (1,330), and career records for receptions (252), yards (3,541), safeties (4) and touchdowns (39); the touchdown mark is also a Big Ten Conference career record.
Edwards is the only wide receiver in Big Ten history (and third in NCAA Division I-A) to gain 1,000 or more receiving yards in three consecutive years.
