The bottom of the bread pan got a little bit of aluminum dust tarnish -- it doesn't seem to be a problem but it was a bit worrisome.
Assuming that the bread pan was upside down, some water would get stuck in the aluminium on the bottom, which is the part that got the "tarnish" for me.
I am on my 3rd bread pan, the replacements were sent free by the company, the 1st because of the non-stick finish failing and the second because of a rattling noise.

Serve plain or with croutons.(The croutons can be made from the bread you cut out of the inside of the bread bowls) This soup is really easy and wonderfully warming on a cold winter's day.
