Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo is the sequel to the 1984 breakdancing film Breakin'.
Breakin' 2 sees the return of Kelly (Lucinda Dickey), Ozone (Adolfo Quinones) and Turbo (Michael Chambers) as they try to stop a developer from bulldozing a community recreation centre.
Since the release of the film, the unusual subtitle "Electric Boogaloo," a reference to a funk-oriented dance style from the 1970s, has become a running joke concerning movie sequels, with commentators often attaching it as a subtitle for any facetious follow up to a popular movie (e.g.

Breakin's plot is nothing new, and it's little more than a very thin skeleton upon which to hang a bunch of song and dance numbers.
Breakin' was a huge hit, and it's following has grown as its status as one of the great cult films of the 1980s has worked wonders for its enduring popularity.
Breakin' and Breakin' II: Electric Boogaloo are simply feel-good, fun-loving musicals with a charismatic cast, fabulous dancing, decent music, and a positive message about believing in yourself, believing in your dreams, accepting others, and the joys of dancing up the walls of your pad in order to impress cute Hispanic girls.

There is a warning for some music fans: Breakin’ Out has a tendency to drive away lazy listeners: those who avoid the mind or spirit, those who favor overly hypnotic pop themes, or those who abuse or even overdose on the trendy song themes or monotonous lyrics or phrasings.
The songs on Breakin' Out aim for the listener’s exposed or under-exposed heart and where they miss that mark, they are sure to hit other vital locations relating to one's thinkingness or livingness.
Breakin' Out is a must for any music listener who enjoys songs that not only go somewhere and do something, but do those things in a way that makes sense and has a purpose, both to and for the listener.

Breakin' - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
Though the Breakin' soundtrack has become a quaint period piece since its release, it is still a notable album.
It was really the first introduction for many to hip-hop culture and music (however softened and tidied up for mass-market consumption it was) and still stands as a perfect summary of the more commercial elements of electro-dance, electro-funk, and even rap of the era.
The album is also notable for the debut performance of Ice-T, who is miles away from "New Jack Hustler" (not to mention "Cop Killer") with the poppy, good-natured "Reckless." It's hardly essential, but a funny rarity nonetheless.

 Breakin' All the Rules
Now Breakin' All the Rules is his chance to show his chops as a romantic lead, and he does well.
Breakin' All the Rules then turns into a comedy about mistaken identity.
Breakin' All the Rules would work is people could believe that these five people could stay in the dark for so long, but Taplitz takes things a little too far.
