It consists of the space character, 186 characters that form a subset of the graphic characters in ISO 6937/2 (1983), and four additional characters that are intended for inclusion in ISO 6937/2.
The lower 128 character positions include a space, 33 control characters, the 26 upper- and lowercase letters of the english alphabet, 10 numerals and 32 other printing characters This subset, functionally identical to ASCII, is defined by ISO 646 7-bit coded character set for information interchange, also known as the International Reference Version.
Any printing character within the 8-bit character encoding of ISO 8859/1 (256 character positions) or the 7-bit character encoding of ISO 646 (128 character positions) may be represented within the text of an HTML document by a numeric character reference, e.g.

Your character is defined by what you do, not what you say or believe.
Good character requires doing the right thing, even when it is costly or risky.
The payoff for having good character is that it makes you a better person and it makes the world a better place.

Distanciation: in Brechtian performance, when actors maintain distance from their character by reminding the audience through often stylized gestures or behavior that they are simply people pretending, instead of trying to identify with their "character".
Method acting: acting style in which the ideal of a "true"(or "real") moment or impulse is valued most highly; the actors try to feel the emotions of the character so that the actors' choices and the characters' would be as one---i.e.
Motivation: a character's individual desires or goals which propel them into action ;the driving force of an inciting event that starts a story's progression.

 Importance of Character
The person with the underlying success factor of good character will often perform to his fullest potential and be successful in whatever he undertakes; while the person with outstanding talent but who is weak in character will usually fail to live up to his potential and often will not achieve even average performance.
Since character is the critical underlying factor that determines how much success we will have in all areas of our lives, we should not leave our character development to chance.
We should be aware of how the character quality (or the lack of it) is demonstrated in the lives of those around us and evaluate the results and consequences we see in their lives.

When trying to make a character, there are a few basic aspects that should be payed attention to, and a few that can simply be touched on, as they will more than likely change or develop over time.
A character who had his entire family killed by orcs, for example, will more than likely be sullen and emotionally shallow, with a very dismal outlook.
A character's perosnality is one of the most fun and challenging aspects of running an RP character.

 UAX#14: Line Breaking Properties
The full classification of all Unicode characters by their line breaking properties, as of the time of publication of this document, is available in the current version of the file LineBreak.txt [Data] in the Unicode Character Database [UCD].
Characters that usually occur inside a numerical expression may not be separated from the numeric characters that follow, unless a space character intervenes.
For supplementary characters, a useful default is to treat characters in the range 0x10000 to 0x1FFFD as AL and characters in the range 0x20000 to 0x2FFFD, and 0x30000 to 0x3FFFD as ID, until the implementation can be revised to take into account the actual line breaking properties for these characters.

 UAX #14: Line Breaking Properties
An indirect break is indicated in the pair table in Table 2 as B % A, where B is the character class of the character before and A is the character class of the character after the break.
A direct break is indicated in the pair table in Table 2 as B ^ A, where B is the character class of the character before and A is the character class of the character after the break, and the optional space characters are not shown.
The line breaking algorithm specifies part of the intrinsic semantics of characters specifically encoded for their line breaking behavior and, therefore, is required for conformance to the Unicode Standard where text containing such characters is broken into lines.

When attempting to resize a table cell, the table cell height cannot be reduced to the desired height although the cell appears to be empty.
The presence of a non-breaking space character in the cell may be preventing you from reducing the cell height to your desired dimension.
The non-breaking space character is the same height as the default font and prevents cells from being resized smaller than the default font height.

 Traditional GreekKeys: Word 2004 compatibility
It has worked for almost 20 years, but (like all other custom encodings of Greek) should be abandoned as soon as convenient (that is, when journals and presses and their typesetting contractors are ready to deal with files containing unicode Greek).
A document previously prepared with TextEdit in rtf format displayed correctly in Word 2004 except that capital omega appeared as a box and printed as a space; but once the character is entered again, it displays and prints correctly (and remains there when the document is saved, closed and reopened).
For an existing document it is possible to search for the missing character by searching for non-breaking space (under special in the Word Find dialog) with the format set to the Greek font and replace with \ with the format set to the Greek font.

Special Characters in HTML: Cross-Platform Issues
Generally, any character can be inserted three different ways: by embedding the 8-bit code in the HTML file, by using a numeric character reference, or a named entity.
Here the first row of 32 characters shows the result of using numeric references, while the second row shows the result of 8-bit characters inserted directly in the HTML file (The 8-bit codes are what you get when a PC user inserts the character using the Windows Character Map accessory).
The solution is to consult a reference on the ISO Latin-1 character set, such as Martin Ramsch's page, and be careful to pick the character you want (e.g., the degree sign is character code 176, not 186).

The parser reports to the XSLT processor when elements occur and what characters text is made up of, but doesn't report whether a particular character was originally serialized as the plain character (an actual space character), an entity reference or a character reference.

Therefore all other characters that you need must be with their char code, as you have found with "and#160;".

character's body statistic is divided by 4 (fractions are rounded down).  For every three body damage done to the objects the character breaking it takes one damage, regardless of soaking or masteries.  This process continues until the object has no body levels left and breaks at zero body.
When a character is trying to shoot the lock or use a melee attack to break the item (Fireman's Ax/Police Ram), the process works as above.  Damage to the object's body is the same as the weapon's damage.
Jumping is possible onto and off of moving vehicles (even though extremely dangerous).  Should a character attempt such a feat, a +4 difficulty will be added to the TN.  Bear in mind that environmental conditions may add or decrease from the TN's, based upon the ST/GM's decision.

D-Man - Re: Cap: out-of-character or breaking the limits?
> I'd also note that fictional characters have to serve other needs than "being real." There's a reason that most people's lives don't make for good novels, and part of it is that most people aren't thematically consistent enough in their regular actions to "work" as "art."
How does that explain the popularity of Spider-Man? Part of the popularity of Spider-Man, especially when he first appeared, is that he had problems and issues that most or all readers could relate to on some level in the real world.

JS Online: For Leon, it's all about character
On and off stage, Leon Redbone is really a comic character actor who has been playing the same role for a quarter-century - a slow moving, slightly befuddled, quirky, period-garbed eccentric who sings turn-of-the-century ragtime, country blues and minstrel tunes in a lazy, nasal drawl while accompanying himself on acoustic guitar.
Moreover, the character is today just exactly what he was during the "Saturday Night Live" days.
To do that would involve breaking character, and the character trumps everything with Leon Redbone.
