		Breakpoint is the successor to the legendary Mekka and Symposium.
		Breakpoint 2004 saw a major change in the funding of the party: ATI Technologies became the main sponsor of the event, and apart from the lucrative prizes, offered various other features to the party, such as seminars and workshops, and also sponsoring a helicopter flight for willing visitors over the hills of the Rhine-region.
		Breakpoint 2005 caused some sad moments to the demoscene when it was announced that the military depot was scheduled to condemnation by the German government, and the next edition was scheduled to be held in the city's gym in the middle of Bingen.

		Breakpoint issues were found in all types and sizes of firms, but were less frequent in firms that complete purchases of funds by sending paper applications directly to the fund's transfer agent.

		The mekka & symposium is a demo-scene party that was organized annually at Easter.
		More than 1200 young Multimedia artists gathered here for four days in order to meet similarly-minded people, to exchange ideas and to participate in the competitions, in which individuals and groups show off their talents in a certain form of electronic art called Demos.

		This year's largestest pure demoscene event, the Breakpoint 2005 in Bingen / Rhein (Germany) might be over, but gave every Dreamcast fan out there a new demo.
		The Austrian / German demogroup Speckdrumm released not only the entertaining PC demo The Nonstop Schlachthaus Experience, but also their first Dreamcast demo on Breakpoint, which was mainly done by phenomenon and blockbuster.
		We spoke with sobec of Speckdrumm and he told us, that the title of their Dreamcast demo is "raytracement killers".

		At around 13h, a pair of hours before the deadline, I went to the bus stop and found that everybody was at the hotel door, including Corsario (which is whose computer I needed in order to check that all was ok!).
		There was a good amount of people looking at that, as the way he managed to achieve quite different effects with just some mathematical factors, and his natural ability to do so, looked quite impressing.
