Rainfall in the Brisbane River during early February varied from 150 mm in the lower reaches of the Brisbane River to nearly 600 mm in the upper reaches of Laidley Creek.

I remember risking the bremer in 3 canoe's, we put in at one mile went down the bremer and up the brisbane to the weir past collages, it was interesting seeing the good and the bad from the river, and met some interesting people.
The Bremer is a load of rubbish, and that is exactly why they dredge the rivers.
So all the crap that sits on the base of our rivers, is still there broken down and has made the river inhabitiable for lots of activities that we use to enjoy when we were kids, it was muddy back then but people swam in it, unlike today.
