Labour GLA members have proposed that Hounslow be split into three electoral districts, Isleworth and Heston, Feltham, and that Chiswick and parts of Brentford, Hammersmith and Fulham be aligned with a new constituency including Acton and Shepherds Bush.
However, the Tories have called for the creation of a Chiswick, Brentford and Isleworth constituency and for one Brentford ward to become part of Feltham and Heston, which would then lose a couple of its wards to become a Hayes, Hillingdon and Heathrow constituency.
According to former conservative parliamentary candidate Tim Mack, the constituency's size has to be reduced and this would result in a knock-on realignment of neighbouring constituencies.

 Siobhain McDonagh MP - Speeches
Johnson) that I represent a constituency in which I was born and brought up, a constituency that I fought three times.
The top-up area containing my constituency is a bizarre and wholly arbitrary construction, covering Feltham and Heston, Brentford and Isleworth – areas north of the Thames and those out in west London.
The introduction of top-up Members of Parliament is a step in the wrong direction and, yet again, highlights the essential absurdity of the so-called compromise.

BRENTFORD and Isleworth MP Ann Keen has been accused of hypocrisy for failing to represent her constituents' interests over the controversial Heathrow night flight issue.
Andrew Dakers, Liberal Democrat parliamentary spokesman for Brentford and Isleworth, claimed he was "baffled" by Mrs Keen's support for constituents against increases in night flights after she voted in the House of Commons earlier this month for the secretary of state to have the power to remove the limit on the number of night flights.
A spokesman for Mrs Keen added although as a member of the Government she voted accordingly, she would continue to lobby ministers and work with Hounslow Council on this issue over the coming weeks and months to highlight the impact of the airport on the community and especially on children's health and education.
