Waldron informed the School Board Members that the Board of Library Trustees have done extensive research on this issue and have unanimously opposed combining the School and Town Libraries.  In addition, she reported that P. Mergener to date had not directly met with the Library Trustee regarding the issue.
Chair A. Chesno reported that P. Mergener had requested to be on the next agenda to ask the school community to take a vote to go forward on a study.  In addition, she stated that without the support of the Library Trustees the concept goes nowhere.
It was stated that the School Board is not interested in expanding the School Library at this time.  Presently, there are more pressing issues for the School Board to handle.
