Don Camillo: The Don Camillo Film Museum in Brescello
Though you can purchase Guareschi's books in its gift shop, the "Museo Don Camillo e Peppone" in Brescello is actually devoted to the 1950's-60's series of French-Italian produced films based on the Don Camillo stories, which starred Fernandel and Gino Cervi as the irascible priest and his equally hot-tempered adversary and friend.
On the edge of town, visible from the main highway, is the familiar railroad station of Brescello (does it appear in all five films, or just the first four?).
Incidentally, it was at least in part because of the size of the main square that Brescello (rather than a smaller town favored by Guareschi) was chosen as the location for the films.

Brescello became a Roman colony at the beginning of 2nd century BC and it was one of the most important centre of the romanity in this area.
But the reason why you go to Brescello is the discoverery of places of culture and good food in the "bassa" (the lower plane near Po River) where famous movies with Peppone and Don Camillo were set.
In the museum "Peppone and Don Camillo", run by the local pro-loco, you can see several antiques and precious recollections of Don Camillo's saga, both the films and the photographs.

Born in Brescello, near the city of Brescia, Reggio Emilia, Zatti was both a painter and writer; he studied under Pietro Benvenuti, a successful Florentine artist, and also at the Academy of Modena.
Benvenuti painted subjects from mythology, such as his well-regarded Pitti Palace commission Hector making remonstrations to Paris, allegorical works, such as his Peace and Justice, and religious paintings that included the work God the Father.
La Brera de Milan holds in its collection the artist’s Lamentations over the body of Abel, a picture quite different in tone, if not style, from the exquisite portrait seen here.
