Brian Fargo has been in the software publishing industry since 1983 where he founded Interplay Entertainment Corp. While at Interplay, Mr.
Fargo brought Universal/MCA in as a 45% equity partner and later took Interplay public in 1998.
Fargo formed an on-line entertainment company with partner Softbank in 1996 and sat on the board of Virgin Europe after it was acquired by Interplay in 1998.

It was with The Bard's Tale that Brian Fargo made his name known in the videogame world...well, at least known to a world of dorks and geeks since this was well before videogames became as mainstream as they are now.
Brian Fargo has a long history in the industry, and after working on other RPG classics such as Neuromancer, Fallout and Wasteland, his name is synonymous with computer RPGs.
Brian stopped, smiled slightly, and said that InXile wanted to focus on one or two titles at a time and that The Bard's Tale was their main focus at this point, but didn't fully say that a remake of Wasteland would be out of the question.
