HOSKINS called another person in Butte, and directed that person to kidnap Kershaw from the Butte home of Kershaw's cousin to make Kershaw tell the person looking for the safe where it was.
The letters and calls detailed, in addition to HOSKINS clear consciousness of guilt in the conspiracy, his desire to threaten or cajole others into changing their stories or not cooperating with law enforcement.
