Topic: Brian Neill

Scotsman.com News - Obituaries - John Brian Neill
Neill was a good sportsman first and foremost and found his niche in rugby as an extremely mobile prop forward.
Neill duly led Scotland in their most successful season since the 1938 Triple Crown success, beating France 10-0, drawing 0-0 with the All Blacks, and defeating Ireland and England, the latter being Scotland's first win over the Auld Enemy in 14 years.
Neill was a keen golfer, and captain of Muirfield Golf Club between 1999-2001, an orchestra enthusiast, and an angler who knew the rivers and lochs in the north of Scotland like the back of his hand.

Brian O'Neill chat transcript   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-04)
Brian O'Neill: Burnitz might have hit 30 home runs if he had played the full season, as PNC is very kind to lefty sluggers, but his on-base average would have destroyed many more rallies than he started.
Brian O'Neill: Gene Collier wrote a very interesting column about this, which led to backlash on the blogs, with fans saying the Pirates lefties really aren't all that much alike when you really look at them.
Brian O'Neill: They'd have to trade a lot to get these guys, but I'd be talking to Toronto about Overbay, to Washington about Nick Johnson (who just broke his leg) and Atlanta about LaRoche.
