Brian 5 could be used to produce a discography of an individual artist, or a general work - it can handle anything that's in Rust or Raben or whatever (as long as someone's willing to enter the data!).
Brian 2.1 was used to compile the discography in the Sinatra Singles box from Capitol.

  California Alumni Association at UC Berkeley
Augusta State University (ASU) Professor of Art, Brian Rust, will be featured as artist of the month at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens in February.
Professor Rust has been a part of more than 30 group exhibitions, six solo exhibitions and sculpted six permanent sculptures in five states.
Rust received his Bachelor of Fine Art at the University of Washington, and his Master of Fine Art at Cal in 1989.

Rust had originally planned to make a Volume 1, covering years before 1925, but he never did it, so the only volume in this book series is volume 2.
Rust's book is not as thorough, and has some inaccuracies, but it is still worth having.

Brian Rust's two-volume Jazz Records 1897-1942 (first published in 1961 and revised and expanded several times since) is the definitive discography for early jazz.
A record collector since the age of five, Rust worked for the BBC in the 1950s and has been a jazz journalist since 1948, when he started reviewing records for theGramophone; he has written many liner notes and reviews on early jazz ever since.
In addition to the jazz discography, Brian Rust wrote a book on King Oliver with W.C. Allen in 1955 and has put together books on the recording output of a variety of labels, as well as compiling The American Dance Band Discography and The Complete Entertainment Discography.

David Schroeder's Mac OS X challenge, which began Monday and wrapped up Tuesday, exposed a Mac mini attached to the university's network to hackers, and dared them to break into the machine.
On his personal Web site, Schroeder cites a long list of Mac-related accomplishments, articles, and activities, including the fact that he is an Apple Distinguished Educator, an Apple Computer program that identifies some 600 K-12 and higher education professionals.
Rust said that the university's network easily handled the additional traffic generated by the challenge, and didn't suffer any damage or breaches.
