 Rules of Card Games: Bridge
Chicago Bridge is played by four people (like rubber bridge), but a game is complete in four deals.
As in most card games, partners are forbidden to convey information to each other by talking, gestures, facial expression, etc. However there is considerable scope for partners to exchange information within the rules of the game by their choice of bids or cards played.
In rubber bridge, although the better players have a noticable edge and will undoubtedly win in the long run, the outcome of a single rubber depends heavily on which side is dealt the better cards.

Bridge is a skilled card game derived from whist, for four or groups of four people, playing in pairs.

In this case, bridge is not a game anymore; it is a fair competition from which luck has been eliminated.
