	Tiger Stadium
		Briggs Stadium was renamed Tiger Stadium in 1961.
		Members drew up their own plan for refurbishing Tiger Stadium, called the Cochrane Plan, but it was more or less ignored by the team and the city.
		For Yankee Stadium scenes, a special green paint was applied to the infield seats, and a partial third deck and 1961 Bronx skyline were added digitally in post-production.

	Censorship and the student press
		Briggs-Bunting, a professor, attorney and formerly a reporter at the Detroit Free Press, says that the best plan for avoiding censorship is to deliver the goods journalistically.
		Briggs-Bunting advises that the policy include the phrase, "an independent voice in the community." That word, "independent," gives some principals pause, but the chances of getting it in there go up when the student journalists show that they can be professional.
		While laws may not be an effective tools against censorship, Briggs-Bunting suggests that student journalists learn about and use state laws concerning open meetings and freedom of information.

	Background history on Anomalocaris part 2
		In 1979, Derek Briggs recognized that Anomalocaris (sensu Whiteaves 1892) was not the body of a shrimp, but an appendage, and predicted that a large arthropod would be found in the Burgess Shale bearing the appendages.
		They proposed two species, Anomalocaris nathorsti and Anomalocaris canadensis to reflect the two different anterior appendages, but suggested that otherwise, the two species were very similar in body plan.
		The Anomalocaris concept of Whittington and Briggs was refined further by Desmond Collins in 1996, who used recently collected specimens to distingush the two species as members of two genera, Anomalocaris and Laggania, based not only on the distinct feeding appendages, but on differences in body morphology (see below).
