Cllr Keith Taylor, Green Party Candidate for Brighton Pavilion, won 9.35% of the vote with a swing of 6.8% to the Greens, compared with a fall in the Labour and Tory vote of 5.9% and 2.6% respectively.

Although they won 20% city-wide, if you extrapolate from previous result diferentials between the three constituencies the Greens were probabaly in the 26-30% range in Brighton Pavilion to the Tories' 22% and Labour's 20%.
Of course, what happens in Brighton and Hove is very different from the rest of the country and Euro results are always different from the General Election.

 Make My Vote Count
A resolution on electoral reform was passed last month at Labour's Brighton Regency ward meeting and put forward to the constituency party last night.
After a very passionate debate on both sides and a close vote, Brighton Pavilion Constituency Party have passed a resolution in favour of electoral reform that will be sent to David Lepper MP for his views.
If enough constituency parties can pass this sort of resolution then hopefully pressure can be put on the Labour government to honour its 1997/2001 pledge on a referendum.
