Airport has experienced rapid growth in passenger numbers and this is putting pressure on facilities especially in the now inadequate domestic terminal.
Although the Brisbane international terminal is an excellent facility, once you have passed through immigration and security the dining options are extremely limited and the food/drink prices terribly inflated.
Luckily the staff at Brisbane were very helpful, and a quick call of the luggage delivery personnel to the NZ check-in at the int'l terminal made sure that I got my boarding pass and actually got to the gate whilst people were still boarding.
