Seletar Airport (Chinese: 实里达机场 {{IATA code: XSP; ICAO code: WSSL}} in the city and State of Singapore is the first international airport, it was completed in 1929, and be substituted by Kallang Airport(already closed) in 1937, nowadays, it is reuesd as another international airport mainly for chartered flights.
Concerned that the existing airport was located in an area with potential for urban growth and was physically helmed in on all sides, the government decided in 1975 to build a new airport at the eastern tip of the main island at Changi, where the airport can be expanded by reclaiming land.
In the "World Airport Survey" conducted by the same organisation, the airport came in second place for four consecutive years from 2002 to 2005 and was third in 2001, with a narrowing gap between itself and first placed Hong Kong International Airport in each successive year.

 Passenger Opinions about Brisbane Airport
Airport has experienced rapid growth in passenger numbers and this is putting pressure on facilities especially in the now inadequate domestic terminal.
Although the Brisbane international terminal is an excellent facility, once you have passed through immigration and security the dining options are extremely limited and the food/drink prices terribly inflated.
Luckily the staff at Brisbane were very helpful, and a quick call of the luggage delivery personnel to the NZ check-in at the int'l terminal made sure that I got my boarding pass and actually got to the gate whilst people were still boarding.

Brisbane's airport rail service claims more people are using the link than ever before, even though current air travel patronage is still down.
I asked they guy manning the exhibition and he told me that the current International Terminal is just a temporary, and long term plans (at that time, at least, which was about 10 years ago) had a new int'l terminal connected to the domestic.
Brisbane would be the most efficent because it was one of the first airports privatised, and thats why sydneys efficency is so bad.

August 15th, 2003 12:58 PM Brisbane would be the most efficent because it was one of the first airports privatised, and thats why sydneys efficency is so bad.
