Britannia had previously operated the 'special' Florida services from HUY in summer 1998, these long haul services from regional airports have unfortunately now been dropped by Thomson.
Thomson are part of the large TUI group which includes the other airlines Britannia Nordic in Scandinavia, Hapag-Lloyd in Germany and Neos in Italy.
Britannia, Hapag-Lloyd and Neos aircraft will all wear the new livery, although the Britannia and Hapag combined fleet's may take up to 5 years to become completely 'TUI'.

German tourism group TUI, which owns Thomson holidays and Britannia Airways announced a successful start to the new financial year with the publication of their first quarter results today.
This was largely due to the positive trend in the tour operator business in the UK, which more than compensated for the dip in turnover in the Nordic countries in the wake of the tsunamis in Asia.
