The British Army would be unlikely to deploy an all-British corps, but it does provide much of the headquarters and framework for the multinational NATO formation, the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps.
The Combat Arms are the "teeth" of the British Army - the infantry and armoured units which have responsibility for closing with and killing the enemy.
The Royal Logistic Corps is the largest single corps in the British Army, and is responsible for the supply and movement of material to all units.

In terms of its military structure it is divided into corps (administrative groupings by common function), and divisions and brigades (large formations, somewhat fluid in nature).
The regiments of the Household Division are always listed first, as they are the most senior, followed by the line regiments.

Instead of supplying complete combat divisions, its function was to round out regular formations by supplying units of up to battalion size (including infantry and light artillery, but not tracked armour), and supply extra support functions such as engineers, medical units and military police.

The 2nd Division Headquarters embarked for Gallipoli on 29 August 1915 but Blamey was forced to remain in Egypt for as he had just had an operation for haemorrhoids.
Blamey accompanied the 2nd Division to France in March 1916 but on 5 July, as a result of a shuffle of senior staff posts, he moved to the 1st Division as GSO1, replacing Lieutenant Colonel A. Bridges (a cousin of the general), who became GSO1 of the 2nd Division.
The 5th Division tightened the noose on Rabaul; Savige's II Corps, with the 3rd and 11th Divisions, began a long campaign to wipe out the Japanese on Bougainville; while the 6th Division cleared New Guinea, capturing the main Japanese base at Wewak and driving the survivors across the mountains.

The Division was formed in Great Britain in October 1914 from the Home Service men of the Territorial Force units in the 43rd Division.
The Division went to India in December 1914 to replace the Regular Battalions which were being sent to France.
The Division remained there sending drafts to the fighting units in the Middle East.

As soon as the Divisions were transferred to other parts of the world battalions were shuffled around, although the territorial character was retained as long as possible.
the Wessex Division became the 1/Wessex Division, and later the 43rd (Wessex) Division, and the 2nd Line became the 2/Wessex Division, later the 45th (2/Wessex) Division.
As soon as these 2nd Line units went overseas, 3rd Line units where formed to serve as replacement for the 1st and 2nd Line units.

In 2002 there were 90 runners, in 2003 there were 200 plus runners and this year over 500 runners from all areas of Southern Britain turned up to run round one of the most scenic parks on the circuit.
The course is a very approximate (and lengthy) 5 K circuit on semi gravel tracks and roads inside the Somerley Estate and in the setting of a bright sunny, winter's day, couldn't be better for clearing the alcoholic cobwebs away.
The senior men won their event, the ladies were 2nd in theirs, the vet men were 3rd after Neil Hotson invented a new course that added 5 minutes to the run.

After reading Dr. Watson's orbat, sixty years after the events we must wonder at how pitifully prepared the British Army was for the Second World War II.
Please note that the sequence for 7 Armored Division starting June 1940 is extremely confusing.
We are certain we have made transcription errors for this division, and no reliance should be placed on this part of the orbat until Dr. Graham has had a chance to correct it for us.

The resulting divisions have caused untold confusion among millions of sincere but misled Christians.
Just open up the Yellow Pages of your telephone book and see how many different denominations are listed, each claiming to go by the "Bible alone," but no two of them agreeing on exactly what the Bible means.
