Rail movements in the I-5 corridor from Vancouver, WA to the British Columbia border include many origins and destinations, commodities, and railroads.
As noted earlier, 58 percent of the rail tons moving via Spokane are destined for the I-5 corridor.

British Rail Class 220 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Class 220 Voyager is a class of diesel-electric high-speed multiple-unit trains built by Bombardier Transportation for the British train operating company Virgin CrossCountry.
Unlike other classes commonly run in trains of two units, such as the Class 375 Electrostar, the Voyagers have no end-gangways, so while passengers could walk between carriages of the unit in which they are riding, they cannot walk between units: each unit needed its own on-board staff.
The Voyagers share the same type of couplers as the Class 390 Pendolino electric units used by Virgin's West Coast trains, and they can be coupled together in the event of a failure, although as the electrical systems are not compatible they are not coupled in normal service.

The British Rail Class 222 is a diesel-electric multiple unit high-speed train.
The Class 222, manufactured by Bombardier Transportation is capable of 200 km/h (125 mph) and is similar to the Class 220 and 221 Voyager units used by Virgin Trains.
Although the Class 222 is related to the Voyager units used by Virgin Trains and has a similar appearance, the trains have a radically different interior, altered after feedback from the Voyagers about their cramped interior, and have more components fitted under the floors.
