Slough Borough Council hope that the Britwell stadium proposal could provide a means of attracting funds in the form of grants and private investment to finance the wider regeneration of the area in question.
What all of this actually says to me is that either the residents of Britwell do not care about what happens in their local area or they do not feel that they know enough about what is proposed in order to state an opinion.
I hope for their sake that the people of Britwell are allowed to make their own, informed choice and not be pawns in someone else’s game to be manipulated by othersÂ….

Bernard Tyler hit the heights to inspire Britwell Salome to a successful spectacular run chase against West Witney in OCA Division 4, writes Kieren Bushnell.

 Britwell Salome Parish church
For centuries there were two parishes here, Britwell Salome and Britwell Prior.
Britwell Salome was in the Diocese of Oxford, and Britwell Prior was attached to the Prior and Convent of Canterbury.
Of the four Saint Nicholas, this church is named after the fourth century Bishop of Myra in Lycia, and has stood as the church of Bruttewell Sulham from the 13th century.

 Scouts Football
This year's Slough Scout football competition was again a massive success, with 6 teams taking part from 4 groups across the district including 3rd Upton, 1st Britwell, 1st Cippenham and 2nd Cippenham all taking part and showing some great ball skills.
This was a league style competition with each team playing each other at the power league in Slough it was very close with 3 points in it at the end.
