	Broadway theatre
		Broadway theatre is often considered the highest professional form of theatre in the United States.
		Broadway theatre, or a Broadway show, refers to a performance (usually a stage play or musical) staged in one of the thirty-nine larger professional theatres located in New York City, with 500 seats or more, that appeal to the mass audience.
		While the term "Broadway" comes from the street, Broadway, not all Broadway theatres are located on this street.

		The Broadways were one of a handful of bands that formed out of the ashes of Slapstick, along with bands like Tuesday, and later the Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms, and The Honor System.

		After more than five years of bringing Broadway's Biggest Hits to Sunday morning listeners across Connecticut, Hartford's WDRC and sister stations WWCO in Waterbury, WMMW in Meriden and WSNG in Torrington have brought down the curtain on the show for the final time.

		Brenden Kelly was definetly not the only singer in the broadways, as it is quite clear that both the other front men sang songs to, with Dan Hanaway only singing one or two less than Brenden, so you could barely call him the lead singer, never mind the only one.
		But while the lawrence arms first album wasn't amazing, ghost stories and apathy were just as good as the broadways, there new album, the greatest story ever told is better than the broadways.

		The whole "family tree" of Slapstick(consistening of all the bands that have branched off of Slapstick is really awesome...often times my friends and I will argue over who should of stayed together.
		We even made a road trip to see them in their hometown since they used to make so many references to the city.

		This was part of the show opening, hosted by Rosie O'Donnell and was a mini tribute to "divas" and also had Patti Lupone singing Don't Cry for Me Argentina and Betty Buckley singing Memory from Cats.
		I have seen the old footage of Jennifer singing I'm Telling You, it's from the 80's she's in full costume, and is still heavy, I think it's from the same year she did the show.
		It was supposed to be in the Broadway Lost Treasures show but the rights holders made the producer pull it at the last minute.

		The lyrics are more political, which is not a trademark of their later CDs (though not as political as the Broadways were).
		The lyrics may not be as poltical as the broadways but they are still kickin with songs like Kevin Costner's Cassino and A guided Tour of Chicago.
