The Parish Council sponsored a competition at Brompton on Swale C of E Primary School in conjunction with the Trafalgar commemorations.
Four prizes were awarded to children of different age groups who produced the best written and artistic work depicting aspects of Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar.

This site is on B6271 about 1 mile from Brompton on the road to Richmond, this flat, river fronted site is ideal for touring the Dales.
A good tarmac road leads past 2 holiday cottages to reception, which doubles as a well stocked shop where you can buy most things including wine and beer.
