So i gradute from Brooks in october, and lets see 125,000 worth of education, cameras, food, housing, and contacts (21,000 a year or so in tuition and it is always going up).
Brooks is the gem of CEC (Career Education Corp.), 10 percent of it's gross income.
CEC and brooks have been cleared by the state education dept. You can get a lot out of brooks, but growing tuition and enrollment has put a kink in the education at times.

California state regulators have placed the Brooks Institute of Photography under a preliminary order to pay "equitable restitution" to students for allegedly misleading them about their employment prospects and earnings potential after graduation.
For instance, a BPPVE employee posing as a prospective photography student was told by a Brooks admissions officers that she could earn from $50,000 to $150,000 her first year after graduating from Brooks.
But Brooks' own records of 2003 graduates don't support that claim, says BPPVE, and the bureau's survey of former Brooks students with full-time employment showed that their salaries averaged just $26,000, while their debt load was about $74,000 each.
