| | BROTHERLY KINDNESS |
 | | Love is much too pure and holy, friendship is too sacred far, For a moment's reckless folly thus to desolate and mar. Angry words are lightly spoken, bitterest thoughts are rashly stirred, Brightest links of life are broken by a single angry word." Those words are so true. |
 | | Ephesians 4:32 says, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you." In Colossians 3:12, Paul writes: "Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering." Suppose an individual becomes sick and discouraged. |
 | | Kindness includes all of these, but brotherly kindness or Christian kindness goes much deeper. |
