Featuring Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 Review at ActionTrip
Naturally, the idea in Brothers in Arms is to have you rely on your squadmates' suppressive fire and flanking maneuvers rather than your own skill as a gamer.
For all these reasons, and even though that Brothers in Arms is very fun and highly original when it's working right, the game felt a lot more disjointed and less enjoyable than Call of Duty.
In those regards, Brothers in Arms is not 'Saving Private Ryan.' Personally, I couldn't help but feel that the dialogue was a bit sappy, but that's just me I guess.

Scattered behind enemy lines after their planes were shot down, the men of the 101st had to brave the elements, the darkness around them, and the advancing enemy troops to join up and complete their mission as planned.

If you play BiA you must learn to embrace this technique because nearly the entire game is based on this type of team maneuvering in order to eliminate enemy forces with a minimal loss of resources.
BiA was made by many of the same hands that brought us what many consider to be the reigning champion of WWII shooters, Call of Duty.
I also recommend BiA for avid FPS players as the squad control feature and realistic gun sway feature adds lots of new challenges for those otherwise board with the typical run-n-gun approach to the genre.

The game isn't helped by an inconsistent aiming system, which can be argued will maintain the realism of an unsteady arm but after perfectly lining up a target, firing off five rounds and watching them fly by is both a frustrating and occasionally fatal flaw to have.
The audio is excellent and hearing the bullets fizzing past you on a 5.1 system can draw you into the action but BIA just doesn't have enough intensity or personal involvement to keep the heart racing.
