		Bruce MacLeish Dern (born Winnetka, Illinois, June 4, 1936) is an American actor.
		He is the father of actress Laura Dern and was formerly married to actress Diane Ladd.
		His grandfather was George Dern, former Governor of Utah and Secretary of War under Franklin D. Roosevelt.
