SENATOR BRUCE GOLDING appeared in the Spanish Resident Magistrate's court yesterday and was fined $3,000 or 30 days hard labour for breaches of the Road Traffic Act.
Golding's lawyer, Wenthworth Charles, told the court that on the day his client was stopped he did not recognise that it was a police officer and that is why he drove away.
Golding was in June fined $7,000 for exceeding the speed limit.
