Bruce Kulick (born on December 12, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York) was the lead guitarist for the rock band KISS from September 1984 to February 1996.
Bruce Kulick is the brother of guitarist Bob Kulick, who himself played with KISS as a ghost guitarist, as well as playing with Paul Stanley as a solo artist.
Bruce Kulick is the only member of KISS to never use a stage name while in the KISS lineup.

Bruce's first taste of the big time was when he toured the world with Meat Loaf as part of the Bat Out of Hell touring band from 1977-78.

As time wore on, Bruce seemed to loosen up on stage and in interview situations but still was not as "loose" as say Gene and Paul were.
He made the suggestion that Bruce join the band when KISS was having problems with Ace in the late 70s as well as when Vinnie Vincent was replaced by Mark St. John in 1984.
Initially Bruce was only supposed to fill in for St. John until his arthritic hands healed but as the condition worsened, the band had no choice but to bring Bruce on full-time.

Kulick heard a second bullet whiz past his ear and realized he'd been grazed in his head by it.
Bruce was not the target, he was caught in a crossfire basically.
