Brushy supporters also say the Oliver P. Roberts was dead and buried in 1939 at Alto, Texas, so again, he can't be the same man, but yet his name is not listed in the cemetery records.

So with an open-mind I researched the story of Brushy Bill Roberts, an old man who claimed to be Billy the Kid and not only did I find his claim complete nonsense, but incongruous and an insult to the memory of Billy the Kid.
On another note, when Brushy Bill Roberts was questioned, he couldn't remember important events that happened in the Kid's life, such as his escape from Lincoln (Brushy claimed there was no shooting going on, which means Olinger and Bell weren't killed).
Brushy had gray eyes with yellow specks while the Kid had clear blue eyes; Brushy had a squarer shaped jaw while the Kid's was rounder; the ears are completely different and lastly, Billy's shoulders are much more slopped and narrower than Brushy's.

I have studied the Brushy Bill case immensely and have come to the conclusion that he was indeed Billy the Kid.
If brushy is billy and he was born in 1859, that would make him approx 91 when he died, pretty good for the 1950's especially for a man who had been shot multiple times and lived a rough life on horseback in the desert with little or no medicine.
Brushy Bill Roberts is the very definition of a logical fallacy, but since that interferes with a good tale, let's just cherry-pick those details that fit his story and ignore all those inconvenient, contradictory facts that prove him a fraud.

Brushy Bill didn't go to William V. Morrisson, Morrisson went to him.
