 | | Father was born in Brusy, Poland, January 16, 1905, and unremittingly, from early childhood to his last days, he expressed a deep love for his homeland. |
 | | This deep love for his homeland he exhibited quite early when, upon the Russian Communist invasion of Poland, he immediately volunteered, at age 15, in the Polish Army to help oust the invading forces, the result being the decided victory by the Polish at the battle of Vistula. |
