		In 2003 this British Death metal quartet were formed for a mutual love of technical music: with a dream to inject new life into Death metal, as English greats such as 'Carcass, Iron Madien' had done in the past.
		Tortured however were going to go about it any much more ferocious manner, incooporating elements of technical death thrash, and brutal death grind, mixed with roaring wirl wind vocals to produce a merciless, sadistic sound.
		The notorious death thrash scene in Europe; which had already produced their own legends with 'At The Gates, The Haunted Carnal Forge, brutal death metal from Poland such as Vader Yattering Decapitated' inspired the band along with equally inhumane bands from the U.S ' Cannibal Corpse, Vile '.
