		Buan (부안군, 扶安郡, aid.peace.county) is a county in Jeollabuk-do.
		To the east of the county is the city of Jeongeup, to the north is the city of Gimji, to the south is the county of Gochang, and to the west is the Yellow Sea.
		There are a number of islands in the county to the southwest, such as Wi-do (위도, 蝟島), Shik-do (식도, 食島), Jeonggeum-do (정금도, 井金島), Dallu-do (달루도, 達樓島), Daewaechi-do (대외치도, 大外雉島), Sowaechi-do (소외치도, 小外雉島), and others.
