Bubble Tape - Candy you ate as a kid®
I remember as a kid when we would get cereal and there would be a little coupon in the inside of the cereal box to get a free container of bubble tape.
When we were kids we would get Bubble Tape gum and we would chew the whole thing in one day.
There is no gum as cool as Bubble Tape and now my kids absolutely love it too.

Bubble Tape - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bubble Tape is a brand of bubble gum that experienced its greatest notoriety in the early 90's for its unique packaging and direct marketing to preteen children ("it's six feet of bubble gum for you, not them" - them referring to parents or just adults in general).
Bubble Tape comes in a small, round, plastic container not unlike a tin of citrus -flavored Altoids candies, but it contains an unbroken six-foot-long string of gum wrapped in a spiral.
Bubble Tape is still a common find in most supermarkets, although advertising campaigns for it have subsided significantly since the peak of its fame in the early 1990s.

Bubble memory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bubble memory is a type of computer memory that uses a thin film of a magnetic material to hold small magnetized areas, known as bubbles, which each store one bit of data.
Soon, however, bubble memory was a dead end and almost all work on it stopped, as the introduction of higher-density and faster hard disk systems in the early 1980s pretty much killed bubble memory entirely.
Bubble memory found uses in niche markets through the 80's in systems needing to avoid the higher rates of mechanical failures of disk drives, and in systems operating in high vibration or harsh environments.
