  Chronogram - The Sporting Life
According to Buccellato, the primary focus of the facility is soccer, both for youth and adults, and several leagues have already signed up either for practices or for playing time, including the East Hudson Youth Soccer League and the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League.
Buccellato points out that organizers of radio-controlled racing events have expressed interest, as have those connected to whiffleball (a national sport, she says) and Ultimate Frisbee.
For Buccellato, the fact that there were so many people willing to help (literally) get the dome off the ground was a testament to the amount of local support the project has generated.

Steve Buccellato: In 1985, while I was a Junior at the High School of Art & Design in New York, I was lucky enough to do an internship at Marvel.
Buccellato: I learned the "traditional way," that is, painting "color guides." Back when I started coloring, that was the only option.
Buccellato: In the case of the DD Visionaries, it's an important distinction because they really aren't being "recolored", so much as "reseparated." You'll note that the original color guide artists (Glynis Wein, Christie Scheele, Bob Sharen and, of course, Klaus Janson) still receive credit.

Comic Book Resources - CBR News - The Comic Wire
In the early '90s Buccellato, along with the crew of his now defunct Electric Crayon Studios, helped change the way comics looked forever by introducing modern desktop publishing tools to bring more color and style to comics.
Buccellato feels Comiculture has a lot to offer a wide spectrum of fans, not just appealing to the "Heavy Metal" crowd or just indy fans.
For Buccellato, publishing "Comiculture" has been one of the biggest challenges of his career and he's looking forward to what comes next with the series.

Buccellato's artwork and contrast of what happened and what the police are extrapolating is brutal and effective, and while there's still more questions than answers regarding the overall plot, Buccellato has an impressive ability to develop interesting characters in a small amount of space.
Buccellato scores again this issue with the delightful story of France's premiere super-hero and his battle with an American coffee chain, which is light and funny.
Close behind is "I Loved A Zombie," Jessica Wolk-Stanley's weird autobio-style story of a girl whose trip to a farm over college break takes a turn for the weird when she discovers the presence of the undead.

Buccellato's is a name that should ring a bell for mainstream comics fans.
Buccellato's work reminds me of a mix of Eduardo Risso and Matt Wagner, and Siry's stuff is reminiscent of some of the Oni crowd, like Andi Watson and Chynna Clugston-Major, but each artist brings their own style to the party as well.
Buccellato has brought together a delicious variety of work here, from Wolk-Stanley's indy-like slice-of-life tale to his own super-hero parody, "Zen Girl & Gun Gal" (which reminded me of Hawk & Dove, but played for laughs).

Flavours of Sicily - Sicilian Pastries - Cannoli, Buccellato, Cassata.
The buccellato travels best; the cannoli and cassata should not be left at room temperature for much more than 3 hours, but customers tell us they've transported them with checked baggage in the coolest winter months with little loss of quality.
The cannoli are the most "fragile" item, as their tubular shells are quite thin.

Mafia Chronology - Section III (1920-31)
Magaddino and six others are arrested in connection with the murder of Camillo Caizzo, whose corpse was found in a large sack in New Jersey.
The Caizzo murder was apparently a vendetta killing, as Caizzo and Frank Buccellato were believed to be responsible for the death of Magaddino's brother Pietro five years earlier (in Castellamare del Golfo, Sicily).
The Buccellato clan seemed to be forever feuding with the Magaddino-Bonanno-Bonventre family.
