		Billy Jones started Buckshot Racing in 1993 when his son showed interest in taking his weekend hobby to the highest level.
		The entire family is a part of this race team and it allows us to be around each other and do something we enjoy.
		Buckshot Jones has learned a great deal from his father and hopes to one day pass that along.

		It didn't take long for Buckshot to realize that racing was his passion, and his goal was to reach the pinnacle of the sport the NASCAR Winston Cup series.
		He understood that major league racing is a business and to get ahead in one of the most competitive forms of auto racing, Buckshot earned a degree in business management, keeping an average GPA of above 3.0 at the University of Georgia.
		The bullrings of Georgia would prove to be the training grounds, Buckshot's first racing in the All-American Division at the Lanier Raceway just outside of Gainesville, Ga.
