Topic: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (film)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Buffy is told in a dual arc serialized format, with each episode both telling a single story and contributing to a larger overall storyline, which on Buffy is broken down into distinct season-long narratives marked by the rise and defeat of a powerful antagonist (commonly referred to as the "Big Bad").
Buffy and her companions also fight a wide variety of demons, as well as ghosts, gods, zombies, and evil humans, and are frequently called upon to save the world from complete destruction.
Buffy has exerted a marked influence on TV and film, with shows such as Smallville, Roswell, and Ghost Whisperer, as well as movies such as The Faculty and Bring It On owing something in their themes, devices, and verbal style to the show.

Buffy is the story of "the Chosen One," a single girl in each generation blessed (and cursed) with the millennia-old numinous birthright of protecting the world from vampires, demons, the forces of darkness.
Buffy centered on the titular character (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and her travails as a young woman while dealing with her super heroic abilities and duty to battle evil.
And against the grain of anodyne writing, contrary to everything the viewer had known Buffy to be, her humor and nuances and ebullience, the viewer lived Buffy's own darkness and confusion ensuing from her resurrection.

Sure it was about a concept that seemed juvenile and included a teenage girl battling vampires with her friends; which included the boy who didn't quite fit in, the nerdy girl and the geeky British librarian – but there was much more substance than first appeared.
Buffy could have ended after this season but the genius that is Joss Whedon kept us going for two more on a new network.

Originally we had hoped to film at the primary location of the first part of the film (it’s split into two “movements”), but life, once again, intervened, and that plan was put aside.
And so myself, Dave, and Ron (the other principles in the film) made our way gradually up to Mike’s place for an afternoon/evening of hanging out and- hopefully- filming some stuff, namely the flashback in the first movement, but hopefully maybe even a scene between Mike and I that starts the second movement.
Most of the time (if not all of the time), flashbacks are filmed as if a film crew just happened to be there at the time.
