Flows from the Thompson River, a tributary to the Fraser, carry the treated wastewater from a pulp mill and a municipal sewage discharge from the City of Kamloops.
The river reach involved is a very small portion of the Kitimat drainage, but is very heavily used by fish, wildlife and man. A detailed technical appendix was prepared and forms the basis for the conclusions presented here.

We arrived in BC on October 25 with poor fishing reports and hope that the run was arriving late.
The Bulkley is a beautiful river and I give the Bulkley River Lodge 4 stars.
Not because we had chocolates on our pillow every night, but because they really went out of their way to make sure we were warm, happy, good meals, etc. The lodge was excellent, if the fishing was good, that would only be a bonus.
