Kung Fu Magazine Forums - Anyone been to Bullshido?
Bullshido, although well intended, is not perfect in its mission.
It's ironic that Bullshido members feel they are getting raw delt, when they don't respect other boards when they come a calling.
I know Bullshido isn't a perfect site and it has its share of trolls, children, and other things that plaque any forum but someone has to tell pple that "jump kick will stop a grappler trying to take you down"* is a ******* train of thought.

McDojo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Belt fees for White, Orange, and Green belts may only be $20, but testing for a brown belt or a fl may cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Depending on how a school evaluates students for assigning rank, this can turn into a "bullshido" practice if the advancement comes from an ability to pay rather than an ability to perform at the appropriate standard.
Some feel these fees are justified, however, as testing for a fl belt may require then as many as ten people gather from around the region, sometimes traveling hundreds of miles.

If you count the moo by their ip addresses, there are many- however, the writing style in all those is consistently poor in exactly the same way, so I can only assume it's the same person using proxy servers, a la the Notes site.
Which suggests that it's a forum frequented by grapplers, traditionalists, and moos, whereas the moo website is only frequented by the moo in any significant numbers, and since it doesn't really change, I can't imagine even they visit it that frequently.

My techniques work because when I kill a guy, he stays dead." Of course, it's not fair to stretch the bullshido FAQ to cover actual criminals.
It would bother me a lot less if I thought that they were flexible enough to think, "But all that is just in respect to Phil Elmore, and the wider situation is more complex." I don't think that they've thought it through in that much detail.

Claims to be a synthesis of many arts (very few of these "hybrids" are legitimate); especially if one instructor claims to hold high rank in multiple arts.
"Bullshido" is the more general term used by some martial arts aficionados to describe what they see as outright fraud, deception, or ineptitude in the teaching of martial arts by modern instructors.
Consequently, almost anyone can learn a few moves and invent their own style, or claim to be the secret heir of a heretofore unknown ancient tradition going on to teach as many gullible souls as possible under the protection of local law enforcement.
