Bunker Hill Township is a township in Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
Bunker Hill is an unincorporated community near the center of the township at 42° 28′ 32″ N, 84° 19′ 03″ W.
In the township the population is spread out with 28.3% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 32.2% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 7.8% who are 65 years of age or older.

The village of Dansville is near the center of the township on Michigan State Highway 36 about 7 miles southeast of Mason.

He was accompanied to the township by his wife, four sons, and two daughters, and he, at the time of his settlement, made the twentieth voter in the township.
Henry B. from the State of New York, was an early settler in the township of henrietta, Jackson Co., Mich., and in 1850 became a resident of Bunker Hill, locating in the southwest part of the town, on a farm which was first improved by Aaron BROWER, one of the earliest settlers.
In the north and east portions of the township have settled large numbers of natives of the land of the shamrock.

The first log house erected in the township of Alaiedon was built by Egbert W. Pattison, in the spring or summer of 1836, he having in that year purchased land on section 28.
The first actual settler in the township -- or in the territory comprising the four townships of Alaiedon, Delhi, Lansing, and Meridian --- was James Phillips, who located on the west half of the southeast quarter of section 30 in December, 1836.
She had come to that township, with her brother-in-law's family, in 1839 or 1840, and taught the first school in the township at his house.

Abijah Lee Clark resided in Bunker Hill township of Ingham County where he died on November 26, 1863 having settled there from first Genesee County, NY and then Lenawee Co., Michigan.
Mary Lee Clark was from Connecticut and is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery next to her husband, Samuel Clark and her son, William Henry Lee Clark who was killed in the War of 1812.
Clark's son, John Lee Clark, now living in Bunker Hill, was the second white child born in the township of Rollin, his birth occurring August 4, 1837.
