Around Abu Dhabi many Yellow-bellied house geckoes (Hemidactylus flaviridis) were observed at night catching insects around outside lamps.
Dwarf rock geckoes (Pristurus rupestris) were active during the day, and under old pieces of wood or board the Abu Dhabi gecko (Bunopus tuberculatus) was found.
Several Jayakari's agamids (Agama jayakari) were recorded in mountain areas, replaced in some regions by the Blue-grey rock agamid (Agama sinaita).

THE OSTEOLOGICAL PATTERN OF THE AXIAL SKELETON IN THE HATCHING GECKO BUNOPUS SPATULURUS (Gekkonidae, Reptilia)
The centres of ossification and calcification in the axial skeleton of the gecko Bunopus spatulurus at hatching, 6 months old age and 12 months old age have been investigated in geckos reared under standardized conditions.
The numerous centres which are already present at hatching have been identified.

There is an in-depth review of Alsophylax pipiens and the genus Alsophylax.
In fact Dr. Golubev, now in Seattle, Washington, did his doctoral thesis on the relationships of the genera Alsophylax, Bunopus, and Tropiocolotes.
Secondly, they should contact some of the Russian and American researchers that could help them.

Removed from this table previously have been Ancyclodactylus, Garthia, Kaokogecko, Millotisaurus, Pseudoceramodactylus, Rhoptropella and Wallsaurus.
Ancyclodactylus species now appear to be included under Cnemaspis; Garthia and Wallsaurus under Homonota; Kaokogecko under Palmatogecko; Millotisaurus under Lygodactylus; Pseudoceramodactylus and Trigonodactylus under Stenodactylus; Rhoptropella under Phelsuma; and Trachydactylus under Bunopus.
